The villa is situated in the village of Votsi and overlooks the local fishing quay and harbour.
Votsi is the second bay east of Patitiri, which is the main port of entry on Alonissos.
The villa is within a 10 minute walk of the local beach, mini-markets and local tavernas & bars.
A 25 minute walk takes you to the main port of Patitiri with it's own shops, bars & tavernas.
The studio is self contained with wet / dry shower, separate toilet / bidet, fridge and tea / coffee making equipment.
A second villa bedroom is available with an additional 2 beds if required.
Why Villa Seven Sisters? - we wanted a link with the yacht (see yacht page) so Pleione had 7 daughters with her union with the Titon Atlas. These daughters, because of their beauty were relentlessly pursued by the god Orion. To protect them, the gods set the daughters among the stars where they are known as the Pleiades, or in nautical terms the Seven Sisters, as they first appear in May and disappear late October marking the beginning and end of the sailing season.
We should like to advise any new guests that we both belong to the local animal charity ASAP (Alonissos Society for Animal protection) and that we have rescued a number of cats that now live with us. All of our guests so far have enjoyed sharing their company and personalities. However, should you not like cats or are allergic to them we would regrettably advise not to stay with us as it is impossible to segregate them from you.
